The Third Award won by the Orchid this year was the Environment champion of the year 1999-2000 amongst large hotels, from the Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI). The Award was presented on 14th October 2000 at a glittering function. The award was collected by Mr. Vithal Kamat, Chairman & Managing Director of the Orchid on behalf of the hotel. The Orchid bagged the award in the first year of it being instituted. | ||
