WORLD WATER DAY |
| World Water Day was celebrated in-house with the team members. A poster and slogan making competition was held for our team members in the hotel for which we received an enormous response making it difficult to judge. Nevertheless 3 winners were selected and given cash rewards for their efforts. Last year, The Orchid had launched a programme on World Water Day on 22nd March 1998. A campaign was launched wherein we distributed mineral water bottles with an eco message telling them how water is a precious resource which should not be wasted and the importance of conserving the same. We distributed these bottles at the National Airport and Shoppers Stop (a popular store in the suburbs of Mumbai). We distributed 10,000 bottles to the public in general and received a great response. |
